Transfer Students

Note: The transfer policy applies to the Diploma program only.

Coursework from State-Approved Institutions

Applicants who have successfully completed relevant coursework at a state-approved institution prior to admission may be eligible to test out of certain components of the Diploma Program. Eligible courses include:

  • Human Sciences for Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers
  • Foundations of Therapeutic Massage

A fee of $35 is required for each examination. Applicants who pass will receive a grade of “T” (transfer credit) for the corresponding course, and tuition will be adjusted to reflect the number of hours transferred into the program.

Applicants Licensed in Another State or Jurisdiction

Prospective students who are already licensed massage therapists in another state or jurisdiction and who have passed the MBLEx may be eligible to transfer their prior education into our program. To qualify, applicants must provide documentation confirming:

  • Completion of the full massage therapy program at a state-approved institution,
  • An active, undisciplined massage therapy license in another state or jurisdiction, and
  • Passing score on the MBLEx.

Eligible applicants may transfer the hours previously completed and will be required to complete the remaining hours of study at our school in order to receive a Diploma from us.
